Hostal Colibri Aeropuerto

This is a very tranquil and relaxing hostel 15 minutes from the Quito airport. My room was bright and clean with high ceilings. The family that owns this place is very friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There was hot water in the shower during my stay. I have no complaints! I stayed for a day between flights and this was exactly what I needed.

The lodging itself is beautiful. I've stayed in the area before but it was my first time in this hostel. Pros: Food was great (they fixed us lunch based on our requirements), the rooms were clean and showers had good pressure and hot water. Cons: The place was infested by party youngsters who played loud music all day long and went on even after midnight, so if you are thinking on staying here after a red-eye, take this into consideration. As a result, the place had unwanted clutter, like broken beer bottles (even in the pool, where I had my foot cut with a residue of a bottle crystal) With more control and regulations, the place would be a much better option.

This hostal is an excellent place to stay if you have an overnight layover. You can have airport shuttle for a decent price. I took the dorm and it was comfortable. The breakfast was complete and delicious. This place is run by a very welcoming family and I was happy to stay there. The only thing that I would improve is that there was no hot water in the shower. In any case, I strongly recommend this place.

Great experience. I felt a warm welcome. These people make everything for you to be happy. Is like being in a family reunion. The coffee is very good and the breakfast...oh my God! It was delicious.

Great little hostal off the beaten trail but close enough to the city & airport. Very kind hosts, delicious complementary breakfast and gorgeous views are all included! Very cost bed & efficient bathroom made this a very pleasant stay!
