electricity cut off in the night, so our devices didn't charge, otherwise perfect

We’ve been staying here for nearly 20 years and it’s always been the same somewhat indifferent service, decent room, and beautiful view. They typically misplace our reservation, so I would recommend that you not assume you have one. There are many other options to stay in Coca, but not necessarily with this view and a pool on the Napo river. It could be 4 or 5 star with just a few improvements, like some organization, recognized reservations, beer available for purchase at 8pm on Friday night, personable service.
