Hotel Spa Miramelindo

Once here, you start to get dazzled by hospitality of the host and cuteness of this place. Every apartment is so personal, so different. There is a big exotic garden in the courtyard where you can almost get lost, sauna and spa center, big hot tub jacuzzi, small swimming pool outside. It fits the locality as you almost feel like beeing outdoors than in some hotel courtyard. We had a fireplace in our apartment and view to a river flowing just past hotel. Sound and visual atmosphere while falling asleep was dazzling, magical, really loved the place.

We stayed here for two nights, as part of a 10day tour of Ecuador with Bike Hike Adventures. This hotel is truly unique. The owner (wife) is an artist and has put her talents into every inch of this hotel. Each room has a different decor and art installations, which are just fascinating too look at. The pool and hot tub are under a glass atrium, so can be used year round. There is a green house, a gallery/studio, a restaurant, and a spa! The food was excellent (also prepared by the wife! She is so multi-talented!). The food was excellent. The spa was so so nice! We each got a deep tissue massage and a hydrating face mask. Not only did they both feel wonderful, they were super reasonably priced. This hotel is just outside of Banos. Which made it a nice quite spot, away the super touristy area. It also sits on the side of a small river, so the view and sound of water was great! The owners were both delightful and attentive. Definitely recommend!

AMAZING PLACE! The staff made the stay with them 10X better. We used to live in Banos and came back with our children and friends, so didn't want to stay in downtown Banos, so this was a great alternative for us, right on the Rio Verde with views from our room (which was huge) and had Netflix on the TV. Just amazing food and service!

Sergio the chef dominates in the kitchen, the food was the best I had in all of Ecuador. The hotel is beautiful, the female owner is an amazing artist and the place has so many creative and original fixtures. A small rain forest in the middle of the grounds and a river soothingly sounds outside. Manuel the owner is so welcoming and he spoke enough English to make it feel like home. Great place to stay!
