Third time I'm here. I've been to other lodges in the Ecuadorian jungle, but Liana Lodge is the best. Not luxurious like others, but more authentic, responsible and charming, with the best food and local guides.

The Ecuadorian/Kichwa staff is amazing, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the area and its animals.
Sadly, the german guy working as host/receptionist seems like he couldn't care less and would prefer to (and should) be elsewhere
He manage to mess up something every day. In the end, he even managed to mess up our departure, which made us miss our bus. They don't come that often!
