La Casa del Suizo

Had a lovely time at Valentine's day weekend. I would recommend some wifi improvements and fans on room balconies. But, all things considering, i would go back and bring people with me. However, i would bring people only after making it clear to not expect better than average food. What the resort is, plus where it is, plus the cost per night = the assumption of beautiful and delicious and high quality meals. The food was average at best. The breakfast with pancakes was fine. But dinner...well, this type of resort shouldn't be serving any meat describable as "gray". Someone is cutting at least one corner.

It has a wonderful location and the place it's incredibly beautiful but the staff not so much. They look like they are angry all the time. Except for Ambrosio he was really nice and polite. Also the cleaning needs to be improved

Along the Nepo River in the heart of the Amazon Rain Forest. Beautiful scenery and accommodations are large and excellent. Boat rides available and are worth doing (We saw a family of Howler monkeys). Arrangements for a hike in the nearby Jungle is available. Food is good.

Really nice lodge in Amazon. Love the employees and rooms were great. My favorite was the open air screened-in room so you could sleep while hearing the jungle. Ask for a hair dryer at front desk if you need it. My only complaint is their t-shirts in gift shop were men sizes and children. How about some nice options for women...especially small sizes?

Wonderful visit, awesome activities, plus a fun motorized canoe ride in and out. If you haven't been to Ecuador you are missing something special.
