WildSumaco Lodge

i spend unforgettable 5 nights here, it is for sure one of the best lodges in a natural environment i had ever been. The food and the rooms just excellent. Wether you stay just on the veranda and wait for the animals to come or you go on a guided tour on the wonderful walkways, were Byron heard and saw birds, unpossible for me to find. The view of antisana or sumaco vulcan, just breathtaking.I was lucky to get the first coffee made by Jason!! No matter how difficult traveling will be for the next time, this place is worth to go, and you just can forget about almost all the problems in the world. All the best for wild sumaco, Mjällby and all this wonderful birds, muchas gracias! I come back!

Superlative service, Owner and Staff are sensitive to your needs. Beautifully designed lodge, both central eating area, bar, and rooms. Beautiful quilts add to decor in central area and rooms. Lovely view from patio. Lots of hot water. I recommend it highly. Definitely worth the stay.

Awesome location to watch wildlife in eastern Cloudforest in Ecuador.

Fabulous nature lodge in great forest and great trails. Well known by birding groups but reasonably priced. Many well maintained trails and East slope Andean birds.are abundant here. Nice owners and great rooms and meals. Nice viewing deck with well maintained hummingbird feeders.
