RONDADOR COTOPAXI

Very nice and helpful host, good price and great food!

They say the detail in the little things makes the place stand out from other places. For this hotel, first n foremost is the location. It’s conveniently located just outside the Cotopaxi Park. Second, the hotel is well run and managed by the entire family from the kitchen, the wife cooks delicious dishes, from the reception n concierge, the husband checks you in, takes your meal order, brings your bags in your room n tells you all the activity options in the mountain, to the sister who is the mountain guide, driver, n porter for the hotel. What ever you need for the mountain, she can provide. Last, they actually have fresh cut wild flowers throughout the hotel from your room to the dining table, from the mezzanine to the bathroom. If there is a 5 star for a small family run hotel like Rondador Cotopaxi Hotel, then this is the place!

Best place to stay if you want to visit Cotopaxi. The host Fernando is such a warm-hearted person and was very helpful when we didn't feel well because of the altitude. He constantly made sure everything was fine. The rooms are gorgeous, everything was very clean and the food was delicious. Don't forget to bring earplugs, the dogs loudly protect the place as soon as it gets dark ;)

What a nice place! Took the room with shared bathroom upstairs. Super cozy with the electric heater. Hot showers. We enjoyed all the meals. A very good night sleep before climbing Cotopaxi :)

One of the best place we stayed during our one year on the road 😍 People here are awesome, food is really great and everything is very clean ! A perfect place to stay and rest while discovering Cotopaxi.
