Hostal "León"

Worst stay ever in Baños. The entrance might catch your attention but don't get fooled, the owner and the guy at front desk are lacking basic education as to client's attention. Not only they never offered us to help carry our luggage to our room, but above all we had to leave the place unexpectedly for emergency family matters and they never wanted to collaborate with us to reimburse at least a part of the whole price we paid. It's as if they just didn't care about life or death matters when one is in the hurry and going through tough times. So rude and heartless people!!! You'll definitely find better places in Baños and with better care and energy.

Truly lovely views from the top floor, where there is a small open-air kitchen. Laundry is available at the facility for a little extra cost. A grade school next door makes for a squealing and shouting experience during the morning if not a weekend. The place is very sweet to spend time in, because of all the potted plants around. The managers were helpful and friendly. Great mountain views! Drinking water available to refill your own containers as well. Just a few blocks from the main market and a good grocery store. Excellent time, sad to leave.

There is no money back policy. Unfortunately we had to leave within 3 hours of arriving, since we had a (serious) family emergency, however they did not care and they kept all the money. The person who attended us unkind and distracted. HE DIDN'T EVEN HELP US WITH THE SUITCASES. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Very nice and pleasant inn, it is not on the main streets but not far from them, so you avoid noise if you want to rest a bit, it does not have a garage although there is a private one in front, although nothing usually happens if you leave the vehicle on the street .
