The right choice if you just want to have a place to crash around Salinas on a budget. You won't worry about the place being shady and scary at all. Rooms are quite cozy but they have everything you'll need. Definetely has some family hotel vibes. Great place all in all, especially for travelling on a budget!

Room was not as advertised. Kitchen had NO cooking pots and pans or cooking utenials. Tried to move us to another room even worse than our first room, which was supposed to be a superior suite. The new room had construction, concrete removal with hammers and chivels. We refused to move. Terrible host. Then she tried to tell Booking we never arrived.

Excellent place to stay, it has very comfortable services, its own bathroom and everything for an excellent stay. I add 4 stars because I did not know how to use the television, from there everything is fine.

Just commenting that it was not what I expected, and perhaps the description of the room they rent is not well done, there is no privacy that is required when renting something and imposing the time to get up in the morning was the worst, one is not going to rest to get up when they want. And also the room lacked a bit of neatness and the bathroom I already found waste in the bin and I had just arrived. So I had to leave the place, I did not stay.
