Ruthie and Danny are the most helpful and considerate host. Danny can help you find activities all over the island for short half day excursions to full day trips. They have lived here for years and are wealth of information from the history to the beaches for better snorkeling. Depending of the time of year prepare for some heat but things cool off once the sun has set. You can find a local grocery and laundry service within three or four streets of their house. Did I mention the hammocks? They have several. While the bugs might get to you during the night the peaceful swaying was enjoyable. Plus their location allows for both views of both sunrise and sunset with a clear view, clouds permitting.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The family is very welcoming and helpful. Check in was a little confusing when you don’t see anyone as you enter and there were a lot of ants and no hot water. However, for the price and the kindness of the family we were pleased.

Cool expat showed us around town. Very modest but comfortable accommodations. Buget price.

The host and his family are super friendly and will look after you like a house guest.
