Hostal Albatroz

Owner is really friendly but this accommodation is very basic. Some rooms had no hot water, rooms were not cleaned everyday which meant the bathroom smelled, rooms were cramped and as many people fitted in as possible, and there was inconsistency in the price people paid. Location however is really good and there was a nice balcony to have a drink and watch the sunset.

I was searching for a cheap but nice hostel in San Cristóbal. A really nice and friendly lady welcomed me and showed me the room. Nothing special but for the price ok. But after I moved in and paid I saw the disaster. The room and even the bathroom was so dirty, it seemed that it hasn't been cleaned for a while and there a even bugs in the rooms! So don't come here even if it's cheap and the owner is really friendly.

Cheap very basic accommodation. The owner is superfriendly, the place needs some maintenance, internet is spotty and some rooms are a bit smelly.
