Mindo Casa de Piedra

Magical place. I loved how beautiful this place was. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The owner is super nice and they serve delicious breakfast. Great place. Definitely recommend!

Excellent place, good service and delicious breakfast

Had the best sleep of my life here! A little slice of paradise was in one of the more private rooms that had its own portal and surrounded by vegetation and fruit trees with a stream running right next it. Staff was super helpful with planning activities and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. If I ever end up in Mindo again this is where I will stay.

Pay attention to the negative reviews. Management of this facility is extremely rude. The service at this place is appalling. We booked thorugh the hotel's website. When we arrived they were claiming they could not find our reservation, and once they did find it they wanted to increase the price of the room. The lady at the front desk was quite rude. She got another individual from the kitchen involved who was also quite rude. Their excuse was that the website is new and they don't check it often. Even worse when the lady started retelling her version of the events she completely changed the original story, and lied. The discussion got very heated, and they said some very disparaging things to us. We had booked a room which was roughly 130 dollars the night, but regardless of the price I would've expected better service. Do yourself a favor, skip this place and find something more worthy of your hard earned cash.

My family loved our stay here! The rooms were charming, comfortable and clean. The owner/host of the hotel was friendly and super helpful in recommending activities in Mindo. And we really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel too.
