Hotel Pucará

Clean hotel in a small town without many options. There are two entrances, so if there's no one at the one reception desk, walk through to the other one. Customer service could use some improvement. We asked for the key and the response was a somewhat rude form of "pay up first". We had a large group and rented three rooms. The one room was given 1 towel for 4 people and told they couldn't have any more because of the good rate they were given. There was a whole in the roof of their bathroom looking at the bottom of the bed in the room above. Our room was just fine. The lesson here is to look at the room you are renting first and make sure you get the exact room you saw. If you do that and play nice with the owner, you're in for a good stay. Oh! And real HOT water! Not very common in these parts. Can't really complain about the price either - $15 for a "matrimonial" (single queen bed with bathroom).

The floor and the forniture was dirty!

The attention of the lady who delivers the room keys is poor. It should be more cordial to customers.
