Beautiful waterfall, its water comes from Lake San Pablo

The waterfall is very nice and there's a few attractions around the village to see some llamas and an indigenous community. The walk up to the waterfall is not too difficult either, it'd about 1km in and another km back out just for the waterfall. The walk up to the cave is challenging. The hike isn't too easy for wheelchairs although it does offer a wheelchair route but that is just a dirt path which ends half way through; whereas the main path is stone and very uneven. If you're near Otavalo best to check it out if you like nature vibes and good views.

Lots of space for hiking and picnics. Saw a yoga class in progress. Beautiful surroundings Go during the rainy season and the falls are best the day after a good rain in the mountains.

This waterfall is one of the most accessible falls we visited. It is about a 15 minute stroll from the entrance to the waterfall, no climbs no elevations. Though the park is beautifully maintained, you can picknick there and there was no entrance fee. You only have to register to enter and there is a voluntary contribution collect for the maintenance of the park. There is also a small market with artesanal and food stands. The falls are very close to Otavalo A market worth visiting!
