Cascada La Poderosa

It was a beautiful place. I took a taxi to the last parking lot. From there, I walked 1 km to the admin office. From there, it was 15 min to the Ponderosa. Coming back, I tried to go to the mirador but I abandoned the idea because the trail was poorly marked and yet it was raining. I went to the Bombuscaro river. The view was fantastic. Later, I went to some smaller waterfall. At the end, I walked all the way to Zamora. In total, I walked some 26000 steps but I took lots of pictures on my way back.

To get to the Waterfall, from Zamora at the Naya la Chapetona circle, take the Via to podocarpus, approx. 25 minutes in vehicle. Once in the parking lot, you must walk along a very well marked path for another 25 minutes to the administrative center, after registering your entrance you can go to the waterfall and go through the various paths of this sector of the podocarpus park. The climate is hot humid and in the waterfall it is necessary to take a bath. Take the necessary. A recommended option is to make the visit by bicycle, it will be worth the effort, take proper precautions.

Spectacular for when you want to disconnect from everything, from the city and be close to nature. It is like being in a mini paradise. Highly recommended.
