Inraki Lodge

We just loved this place, Francisca was the best, we had a late arrival, she was there for us, giving directions for our taxi driver. First thing in the morning we had a wonder breakfast, we only had a half day before we had to fly out. She took us on a walking tour of the dry forest, showed us the flower farm and horse boarding they do, It was just wonderful. She had to go to town about the same time our flight was so we just paid her for the ride to the airport, A wonderful value and a wonderful person. Only regret was we had to leave so soon.

Fantastic visit. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful and was great at accommodating me and my son. Her English is excellent, the lodge is beautiful, and the breakfasts were great. The cabin was very nice, clean, new, with a nice bathroom. Our only difficulty was getting in - there is a front gate with a buzzer, but it was a better idea to just call their number for someone to open the gate. The lodge is a slight drive from the main road - just follow the signs and pass the farms and horse stables. Close to the Quito Zoo via car or taxi and closer to other places like Otavalo than staying in Quito. Because of the altitude difference, it is also warmer and sunnier than Quito. After a week in Ecuador, my young son said the Inraki Lodge was his favorite part of the trip.

Ideal for resting, attention is the perfect combination to respect your connection with nature and be on the lookout for if you need it.
