Cochasqui Archaeological Park

If you're into pyramids go see it. One of the best place I've been to in a long time. If the vast open land don't pull you in then learn about the mounds and consider the amount of work put into getting it done!

Very interesting. Beautiful place with an amazing view. Entry prices are very correct and rather cheap considering that you get guide explaining all. Really worth the detour.

Nice archaeological park. Amazing to think how they could have built this without modern tools!

Located an hour from Quito. You can find in this place a cermenial pyramids, sundial, moondial, that was used to agriculture matters, an also a museum. It's a great place to bring kids, and please pay attention to explanation about geo location, it's interesting to learn a little more about how old poblations readed the stars and how they used that to located their farms.

Pre Inca site. Full of llamas and alpacas, awesome information about the first nations in Quito
