Hotel TAMBO DEL LIBERTADOR

After two weeks of traveling around Ecuador, including even the most remote regions, Hotel Tambo was the most expensive and the worst quality of all our accomodations. Power outlets hung loose from the walls, holes in the tile floor were filled with paper towels, air fresheners were scattered around, the bathroom & shower were moldy, and a puddle formed on the floor everytime the toilet was flushed. The included breakfast was of measly poor quality portions, and the "high speed internet" rarely functioned.

In Guaranda it is a good accommodation option. The services are basic, so it is recommended to request familiar and simple menus.
