Hostal Venus de Valdivia

What a little gem. Beautiful property, very safe and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Depending on traffic, approx. 15-20 minutes from the airport, via taxi.

Chilled out... They didn't mind me waiting until 3pm to check out. Nice room

Cozy, clean, relaxing

Lovely grounds, great view over the valley, and kind staff. The rooms were simple and the wifi reaches almost everywhere on the grounds. I particularly enjoyed the observation deck. Te frustrations were: we arrived without a reservation and so spent an hour waiting at the front gate because the woman who owns the place was out shopping. Some of the doors are not well fitted to their frames and will open at random, and for almost 2 days there was not water. When it was running the water pressure was fine and the temperature was lovely but when we arrived the sink had been turned off and the 24 hours before we left all the water was sputtering at best and we could not shower. Breakfast is a home made affair and she was very accommodating in general.
