Mr. Milquetoast (10/24/2019)
My dear companion and I just wanted to walk around and enjoy some artwork with our eyeballs. We knew that this was the kind of gallery that primarily displays art for the purpose of selling it, but we just wanted to look at it, and we told this to the lady working the gallery floor up front. She welcomed us in and quickly lived to regret it. MDC and I took our sweet time, and all the while the woman followed us around sighing and ughing and shaking her head and rolling her eyes and rapping on things. We got all her signals loud and clear, but we weren't too perturbed. The art was worthy of close inspection—especially that of Carlos Mansalve M., whose wonderful work features prominently in this gallery—so I really didn't want to rush through the fairly large gallery without fully enjoying the experience. But that lady was really trying her best to say “vayanse” without actually saying it. But this is an interesting if most unusual way to view art, I thought to myself: in the company of an impatient curator who evidently doesn't even want people to see the exhibits; she wants to have the whole gallery all to herself! I say go on in and experience this novel experience for yourself. And if she doesn't monitor you the whole time and give you this anti-art experience, perhaps because, unlike MDC and me, you don't look like the proverbial can of biscuits, then you'll still get to see a ton of fabulous artwork from several artists in a variety of mediums. In that case the experience just won't be very meta. But personally I think the antiart meta thing adds a nice flavor to the gallery experience, so perhaps you ought to wear your grubbiest clothes, waltz in unkempt off the street, and inform the lady in the lobby that you intend to spend a lot of time there but no money whatsoever. Then you should be all set. ¡Diviértanse!

Always a lot of attention to detail and a very cordial treatment. They are very accomplished and provide a high quality service. We have only had positive experiences with Imaginar, and that has been framed by several paintings.

Very good variety of artwork. Excellent attention and advice. I bought a painting and they delivered it to my house and they installed it in no time.
