Upon arrival to the gardens, the sight of the bonsai trees instantly transported me back to 16th century feudal Japan. I stood beside my master in his great hall as a gang of four assassins dressed in black broke in through the windows and ceiling in a bold attempt to kill The Wise and Fair Master Okashi Sukimaki. I drew my samurai sword, and boldly defended my master until the last assassin was killed. Unfortunately, I was wounded in the neck by a poison shuriken and died shortly after.
When I died, I re-awoke in the garden to see I had knocked over several of the bonsai trees, breaking the pots, and upsetting the folks working there. I was told I was screaming in a strange language and using a stick to knock down the trees. I don't remember any of that..
Nonetheless, the Bonsai trees were beautiful and easily worth the price of admission.
Lovely place to visit....
This is amazing and FREE
Wonderful Japanese garden
It is a nice place, although nothing compares with other Japanese gardens in the world. If you are a tourist, it is not worth knowing.
