Museo de Arte Moderno

It is located on 12 de Octubre and Patria avenues, in the Building of Mirrors, designed by Architect René Denis Zaldumbide. It contains, in addition to the areas destined for Museums, the National Theater, the Eugenio Espejo National Library, the Alfredo Pareja Cinema, the Mariano de Jesus Hall, the Demetrio Aguilera Malta and Jorge Carrera Andrade auditoriums, the Radio Broadcaster and the Agora Theater. The Building of Mirrors has an ovoidal design, with three levels and its facade is covered with mirrors, which motivated its name. It has several permanent collections.

Very good museum. Totally recommended. The works of art are multiple and with good explanations. As fascinated by modern art, I recommend this great gallery.
