Great place for plays movies and the museum. Many things are free which is awesome.

I visited the art gallery and national museum and both were worthwhile. The museum had quite a bit of explanations written in English which was helpful to me. Both were free!

I assisted to a dance and a performance of the Ecuadorian history. The dancer and the actors were students of a colleague and showed amazing skills, the play has superb, and the acting cautivaiting, I really liked it and highly recommend it. However, the audience behavior was really annoying, people walking during the play, people making jokes, I even had to tell to some teenagers by my side to shut up for a while; I didn't feel in the position to make a complain because it was a free show (as most of the shows are), but overall it was really good, I will definitely go again, and find best sits the next time.

Fantastic place to get to know Ecuadorian history and lots of cultural insights. A must seen with great location. Offers, with FREE entrance, among others: NOMA, Museum of Music, Theater, Movie theatre, a library and constant performances for adults and children. It offers parking for a small charge.

As its name suggests, it is the biggest cultural equipment in Quito... completely worthy and mostly the shows are lovely... completely recommended...
