It's only open for tours, which you have to book through their Facebook page. They won't let you in, if you just show up.
Really well layed out and informative. Took about an hour and a half to walk through. Highly recommend!
Rich with interesting artifacts and artwork, some interactive exhibits, and SOME accommodation for English speakers. However, not everything was translated, so the experience felt incomplete. It's small for a national museum, but comprehensive in it's content.
Awesome museum. Easy to find and it's free!
The staff are awesome and can instruct you on how to download a free app that explains tons of the exhibits in your selected language! This isn't necessary but adds to the experience! Spent about 1-2 hours there.
The best free museum we have been to. A thought provoking look at the transition from pre-columbian, through Incan, and Colonial times all the way to Republican Ecuador and up to modern times
