I stayed at Hostel Aloasi in May with the hope to climb volcan corazon. It is an ideal base for the ascent, but unfortunately I could not climb because of bad weather. However the family were amazingly hospitable, and took me into there home and were very kind. It was a truly memorable experience and a very nice way to meet and spend time with an Ecuadorian family. I would highly recommend staying here and couldn't encourage it enough. The rooms were very clean, had hot water and were very well priced. I have no faults.
