Hotel - Casa del Montañero - Bed & Breakfast - Hostel - Machachi / Cotopaxi

Almost perfect! It is clean, warm, and in the center of the valley of volcanos. At the end of a long hick day, one can enjoy the fireplace while drinking some tea, or use the wifi for some Netflix break. By far the best you will get for such a low price.

"La Casa del Montañero" Hostel offers a delicious meals and a good breakfast it is close to the center of Machachi town. Their team is very friendly and the facilities are very modern and very clean is very nice being there feels like home

The hostel is completely new (1.5 Years old according to the owner) which is nice. But exactly because of that it bugs me, that this place is so cold. Neither a window, nor a door closes properly. Speakingof window: ours looked exactly at a staircase... The shower uses a water heater which does ot realy work. Even on highest setting, you need to turn down the water flow to nearly nothing to get somewhat warm water in this cold room. The breakfast was ok and the stuff helped us wherever they could. But all the additional services they offered where way to pricey. All in all, it did what it should but I didn't felt welcome.
