Lonely summits agency delivers. We climbed 6 peaks with them in two weeks and everything went extremely well without glitch. Guides were experienced, personable, knowledgeable and caring. Highly recommend.

Climbed in Bolivia with Edgar as our guide. Could not have had better experience. Loved every second of the adventure and it was mostly due to Edgar, his professionalism, experience and most importunity, fun and honest attitude. Safety always came first, but it didn't prevent us from having great time climbing and reaching our goals. Edgar is an excellent guide...the best I ever had and would highly recommend him for any mountain adventure. His experience is unquestionable and personality terrific. I look forward to future experience with Lonely Summits!

I went through this company via Secret Garden Cotopaxi. I paid $290 to do the Cotopaxi Summit and I was so eager and excited to complete it. Unfortunately I was unable to complete the trek to the summit as I got a bit of altitude sickness from the Refugio. Our guide was Segundo and I do not recommend him if you have him as your guide. Ask for someone else. He was late upon arrival. My friend and I expected him at midday but didn't show up till 1.30pm. He was cooperative and helpful with our gear but that was about it. I expect guides to be encouraging and motivating but he was the total opposite. I suffered a bad headache and slight nausea but I pushed through to the best of my ability. I had to keep having short breaks but within the first two hours, he told my friend and I that we couldn't make it to the summit because of me. From the itinerary, it estimates 6-7 hour hike up to the summit. Yes, we were behind but we still wanted to make it up to the summit and nothing was said about danger if we didn't make it in time. So that was extremely disappointing since we paid $290 each and he didn't even try and push us through to get to a certain point to feel like we achieved something. I really wanted to complete this summit trek and although I was sick, I was trying my hardest to push through and I know I could've if he had given some positivity. Segundo, you have completed this 2000 times. You should know better!

Edgar was an excellent guide. I have little climbing experience and Edgar was very knowledgeable and instructive. He is a life long climber and he has tons of experience and passion climbing through out the world. He was pleasant and a very nice guy. Unfortunately, the weather was very bad while I was in Ecuador so Edgar came up with a great alternative climb to Cayambe, which was not in good condition due to storms. He knows the mountains like the back of his hand and can relay tons of information, which makes the trip that much more enjoyable. His 4×4 transport and climbing equipment were all top notch. He understood safety and made sure to avoid unnecessary risks. I will climb with Edgar again. Close STEVEN MISHOE 20-06-19
