Cascada EL PALTO

This is a must do when in Vilcabamba. Not only is it a beautiful waterfall but it's also a great hiking trail to get there with awesome views.

It was my first waterfall I ever saw and I absolutely loved it. The price to enter is $1 but it's totally worth it.

It’s better to go to the start of the route on truck, which approximately cost $2,50, the hike takes 2 hours walking to the waterfall, the entrance cost $1

Nice waterfall, a bit tricky to reach while pouring since everything is slippery

Tricky hike to get down to the falls from the farm but just take your time. There is an entrance fee of $1 but no one was there for me to take the money. From the town its a beautiful hike that just keeps getting better. Mapsme says it is a loop but the hike isn't a loop, atleast from what I could see it wasn't. It was impossible to get up the other side without risking your life. Either way its a nice hike to the waterfall and spend the afternoon.
