Torre Mar Galapagos Boutique Suites

Loved this hotel. It is more like apartments. The neiberhood is working class but safe. The owners especially Dona which we interacted mostly was exceptional.

What a fantastic place to spend your vacation. The hosts were very accommodating, and the facilities were perfect. Close to town, you can walk to the waterfront in about 10 minutes. Plenty of hit water via solar energy.

Deciding to book at Torre Mar was one of the best decisions I made on this trip. Months before the trip I was in contact with Donna regarding the physical restrictions my mother had and her many food allergies. I told her what I wanted to see and do on this trip and she suggested an itinerary and gave me the price. She booked the tours and made sure they had everything they needed as well as made aware of my mom's allergies. Carlos the driver was amazing and for $50 picked us up from the airport and took us right in front of the suites (airport to suites require a ferry and bus ride which is not included in the $50 but cheap and worth having Carlos to help in the details). Carlos even let us do Los Gemelos on our way back to airport. John and Donna made sure we had breakfast before our early tours and were so attentive and careful with my mom and her allergies. Donna gave us a tour of the highlands and John even personally took us to a meeting spot for one of our tours early in the morning! The room was clean and huge. Perfect if you plan on staying a long period of time and wanted to save money by buying food from nearby markets to cook on some days. The Puerto Ayora was so close but we were far enough away from the crowds which was great when u had an early tour. There is so much more that John and Donna did for us but essentially I highly recommend the Torre Mar.

Awesome Visit!! We really enjoyed our time in the Galapagos because of Fonna and her team at Torre Mar. They were very helpful in getting our trip planned. We decided to do a land based tour rather than going by boat. We got excellent advice and tips from Donna on what and what not to book. We set our budget and from there we worked out what she recommended. We really felt at home during our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay. All amenities, even nice fancy bath robes!!
