El Bambú

We get a room number 7 with window inside of the building, so no fresh air. The sink was broken. So all the water from it, went on the floor. (We didn't complain about it). Room was smelly. Air conditioning was silent, so you could sleep very well. Bed was big and comfortable. You can prepare you meals in a small kitchen, but you can't cook.

We stayed for 6 nights initially and returned for another 4 nights after visiting San Cristobal and Isabella. We really enjoyed. Sebastian welcomed us and have us a good intro. Our room on top floor was excellent with comfy bed and hot showers. Wifi so-so as is common on the Islands. Kitchen was used by us every day. Location is close to airport bus drop point and market. It’s 15 minutes to ferry port; this was fine for us as we avoided downtown bars/disco noise. Instead we had some early evening basketball practice and Zoomba to listen to which stopped by 9PM latest. The terrace has a great breeze. Good value for money.

The private room was nice, but nothing special. The woman who checked us in was curt and direct - we didn't see her again during our stay. The hostel didn't refill their water for several days, which made it hard for us as we constantly buying new water bottles around town just to have clean water. The space was private and comfortable, but pretty out of the way from the dock and central areas. Would maybe book again if something better wasn't available.

Very week internet connection. Rooms are noisy. You can hear everything from other rooms and from outside. Quite clean. Quite far from city center. Helpful stuff. No brush for toalet!!

Great experience. Very clean, comfortable beds, microwave, water, fridge in the room. A little expensive, but it's Galápagos!
