Hotel Palm Garden Galápagos

Could not use pool for 2 days as it was overtaken by 50 + kids on vacation, they ran around like wild, screaming and slamming doors til late night, starting early in the am....no adult supervision, the night we arrived it was closed for cleaning, I almost broke my neck 2 x with the step up to the sink and toilet....it was not clean, inside the built in closet was dirt, hasn't been cleaned for a while, the sink was grimy, the toilet looked like it was not cleaned, the breakfast was terrible, the matress was hard and uncomfortable, the sheets too small for the bed, the music and radio on way too loud for a 7;30 am breakfast...nobody speaks English so I could ask a simple question, and on and on.....I am not a Princess and have travelled with backpack and sleeping bag around the world, believe me, this is the WORST place I ever stayed, one of the many hostels would have done a better job, I am sure off.....

Don’t expect too much from this place. WiFi is very weak, hot water is intermittent, breakfast isn’t great, pool isn’t nice. Woke up to people drilling before seven am and to kids screaming. Shower door was completely broken and moldy. The room smelled like mold. The only upside is the convenient location.

Pretty good place. We stayed here as part of a tour of the Galapagos. The rooms were decent (nothing special) and the breakfast was pretty good. The pool was great.

Friendly staff. Welcome to foreigners. Quaint rooms. Complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner at Hotel restaurant. Private Pool. Close to many local attractions. Free wifi but its a lot weaker the further are from the front desk.

Very Nice Hotel with Rooftop Pool! Right in the town of Puerto Ayora, walk to everything! Do reasonable price especially just as walk in! They have allot of rooms so usually available! Our room was clean and spacious! We were very pleased. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. The rooftop pool was a real bonus! We would return!
