The facade of a one-story manor, built in the first half of the 19th century, is decorated with columns in the spirit of classicism. The Aravete Village Museum opened its doors to visitors on June 9, 1989. The museum occupies 10 rooms of the estate and attic. The Aravete Village Museum can be visited on weekdays, and on other days by prior arrangement. Interesting to know: The museum has a fireman’s room, a classroom, a teacher’s room, a women's room, radio gramophone-televisions, a stagnation era room and a literature room. A unique exhibit of the museum is a baby carriage, which once belonged to the Kurisoo landowners named von Steel.
