I brought the puppy from there
Beautiful mansion and lots of work yet.
The manor has not been restored yet, but a great deal of work has already been done on the renovation of the outbuildings and the orchard. The total value of the village has been greatly improved.
Very beautiful and cozy place!

Rutikvere Manor was founded in the Middle Ages, the manor was first mentioned in the historical sources of 1514. From 1660 to 1919, the manor belonged to the noble family of von Pistochlcors. A representative two-storey manor house in the style of early classicism was built in the 1790s. In the back of the building there was a characteristic extension that reached the height of the second floor. In the Estonian architecture of the manor house, the Rutikvere manor house is quite unique - a small extension is connected with the main building, it is connected in an arc-like manner with the main building. Both the connecting part of the two buildings and the barn are decorated with numerous arched openings. In addition to the manor house, there were many outbuildings on the manor. The most representative building was a windmill, located a few hundred meters to the south, on the Põltsamaa River, which according to some data was built in 1616. At a distance of 3 kilometers to the east, in Kyutymigi, there is a family cemetery of the owners of the von Pistohlkors manor with many beautiful neo-Gothic crosses, as well as a chapel. Gates of the cemetery in neo-gothic style. From the manor of Kyutymagi (and from there, towards Pajusi), there was a straight road of 500 meters long, which led to the center of the Manor of Rutikvere. After a period of nationalization, there was a local school in the manor. After the fire of 1954, only ruins of the manor house remained, only walls remained of it. The ruins of the manor house are privately owned, in 2004 the walls were partially demolished. Some economic premises were destroyed, from what used to be, a beautiful windmill remained only ruins. On the mountain Kutimagi there is a family cemetery of Pistochlkorst, with grave crosses, a chapel and a gate building. This cemetery of a noble family is in the best condition in all of Estonia. In the 20th century, other people were buried here besides members of a noble family.
