The manor and the ducks probably belong together for the most part. This is probably a later phenomenon, because the manor duck has not been heard as a surname.

I once went to school when it was still a school.

My greatest memory. I will not forget my school's memory.

Vana-Võidu mois, Viiratsi, Viljandimaa, 58.393016, 25.659381 58 ° 23 '34.86 ", 25 ° 39' 33.77" Manor Van Wydew was founded in the Middle Ages (in German the manor was called Alt-Woidoma). The first mention of the estate dates back to 1834, when the estate was owned by the noble family of von Shtryukov, who began to rebuild the manor and give it a representative appearance. The stone manor house in the style of the late classicism era was built in the 1840s. Initially, the building was one-story, two-story was only the central part of the building seven windows wide. In 1919, the building was nationalized by von Shtryukov, an agricultural school began work here, for which, in the 1930s, the building was completed and became completely two-story. The follower of this school is the Viljandi School, which has been operating on the estate until the present day. In the second half of the 20th century, several outbuildings were added to the manor house. In addition, the secondary buildings that remained on the manor were strongly rebuilt. In the 20th century, several new buildings were built in the central part of the manor and in the immediate vicinity of it, for this reason, the manor turned into a village. Historically, a deep valley ran from Van-I will leave through Karula Manor. Today, only parts of the alley that were in the vicinity of the estate remained from this road. There is no bridge over the Tanassilma River.
