This building was built in 1890 and was a private house, later, an extension was added to the house and a school opened its doors in this building. In the autumn of 1929, the school had the chancellery of the government of Tõrva. At that time the building was one-story, partly with an attic, from 1936 to 1937 the building became two-story. The tower and the balcony were completed. In Soviet times, a blue-black-and-white flag flew from the tower of the town hall. It happened on May 1, 1962. This event did not cause much resistance, the name of the person who raised the flag to this day is unknown. Now the town hall of Tõrva is sitting in the town hall.
