It looks bad, but the main thing is that it still works.

A Soviet-era building, it seems that paper is no longer made. Nostalgic. The surroundings are very beautiful. Nature and the river are a separate attraction.

Tööstuse 19a,, Kohila vald, Rapla maakond 59.174785, 24.753184 59 ° 10 '29.23 ", 24 ° 45' 11.46" The paper mill in Kohila (originally a wood processing factory) was built in 1894, according to the design of the architect-engineer, N. Kheraskov. For these purposes, the building of the water mill, which belonged to the owner of the Kohil estate, C. von Luder. Initially, the two-story building with brick walls was L-shaped. The building was opposite the master’s house, not far from the river. In 1899, a drying room was added, as well as a welding workshop, designed by R. Knupffer. Several rebuildings took place in 1903 and 1909, a new boiler house was built (technician O. Schott), a pipe 50 meters high was built in 1910, in 1911, wooden floors were replaced with reinforced concrete ones. The building acquired its final appearance in 1912-14, when the second floor was built on the smallest wing of the building (project by O. Schott). In the southwestern corner of the building a three-story water tower appeared, the facade of which is divided by high triangular windows. After the devastating fire of 1980, during the reconstruction, the building finally lost its former appearance. In the east direction from the workshop, there is a working village, where two one-story office dwellings with a glass veranda are built in the northern part of the Tööstus road, behind these buildings are working barracks for 24 apartments, in the southern part of the street there are one-story and two-story barracks.
