This homestead is one of 5 farmsteads that bear the same name, Maidla (in German, all the names of the farmsteads sound differently). The manor house on this estate was rather small, however, a stylish one-story building in the Baroque era. The manor house was built at the end of the 18th century. The central part of the building is two-story, in front of it there is an open terrace. At the top of the central part of the house is a triangular pediment. After the period of nationalization, one of the local schools was located in the manor house, which functioned until 1970. Later, the building served various functions. It once housed an office and a grocery store. In June 1985, the estate burned down, for which reason, only ruins remained from the manor house. Now only the walls of the building can be observed here. However, some minor buildings have survived on the manor, but in a rebuilt form (including a carriage stable). A barn burned down during a fire in 1982. A few hundred meters from the central part of the estate, in the southern direction, there was a hillock on which there was a windmill; now there is a gravel pit in this place.
