Museum of Türi (Türi Muuseum) Vabriku puiestee 11, Türi, Järvamaa, 58.803846, 25.429380 58 ° 48 '13.85 ", 25 ° 25' 45.77" The Türi Museum is located in the place from which the development of Türi began in 1900. In the permanent exhibition you can see the history of the Türi Railway and the paper and cardboard factory. You can also get an overview of the industry and small business of the past, of which it is worth highlighting a brick factory, a sewing workshop, as well as a women's hairdresser. The museum has been operating since 1995, although in fact it was started much earlier, when local craftsmen began to collect exhibits for the museum. The broadcasting museum is located in the same building. Estonian Broadcasting Museum The town of Türi in central Estonia was chosen as the site for the museum. It was here that in 1937 the State Radio Broadcasting station was built, the antenna of which - 196.6 meters in height - was then the most modern in Europe. The museum is located near the railway crossing of Türi: getting off the train or bus, you need to walk only a few hundred meters. In the first part of the exhibition (1926–1944), objects and materials of the first years of national broadcasting are demonstrated. The second part of the exhibition (1944–1991) introduces the work of broadcasting in the Soviet period. The third part of the exhibition is devoted to television. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 to 17.00
