Definitely worth the trip to the end of Saaremaa. Wonderful view from the top of the lighthouse and a nice walk to the end of the point. Plan for 30-60 minutes on site. No cell service in this area but there is wifi at the restaurant; which has a great terrace, good coffee and clean washrooms.

The lighthouse is quite easy to reach by car. It is located on the tip of the southernmost peninsula of Saaremaa island. To get to the top of the lighthouse you have to buy a ticket. There is no elevator, so the only way to reach the observation platform is by stairs. It will not be easy, especially for the elderly people or those who are in a not so good physical condition. In any case, the views from the top are well worth the effort.

Good view from above but dissapointingly the bars at the top don't fit even a digital camera lens so don't bother bringing it with you! Also, nobody checks tickets at the lighthouse itself, so one can just jump the turnstile and avoid paying 5euro.

Most beautiful place in whole island (in my opinion). Not much to do during low season, but a great spot for a walk. You can go up to the top of a light house - it's about 4 eu per person.
