POSADA SIERRA DE IBIO

Guys, young, old, alone or families listen up. I recently shot a promo video here and stayed here for a week while I was shooting, writing reviews isn't part of my job but I wanted to share my time here.nnI came here alone and stayed in a big room with a spa that overlooked the Posada and then a smaller room to shoot from a different side and let me tell you I haven't slept this well in a long time. I'm not sure if it was the bed or the tranquility but what ever it was I have come back to the city feeling reborn. Jordi and Oscar are also amazing and very friendly. They gave be some of the best food recommendations in the area and the best beaches to visit, I was here in the rain and it was so cozy I even enjoyed this as a winter holiday.nnOscar makes amazing food in the Posada and they were explaining that everything was fresh from the farm, we even walked down the street to pick up the local eggs a few doors down. I only ate out twice and the rest of the time was in the Posada because it was the best in Cantabria! Not to mention the full bodied local red wine along with a very cute little Posada dog called Jumping that greets you as you arrive. They even planned a traditional Cantabrian dance one night and some of the locals came over to the posada dressed up.nnif you were lucky enough to stumble across this review looking to find a winter or summer holiday in Spain then call the guys now and book the room!! We have been staying for 3 days and we have felt at home before arriving, since they have been aware of our needs days before arrival, that makes you feel a little more special and makes them different from the rest.nThe room we had was very spacious and the decoration very neat. Given the situation we are experiencing, I have to say that the cleanliness of the facilities was perfect. We had dinner there one night and we loved the variety of dishes and the quality, based on the products of the land, especially from their garden. Very good homemade breakfasts. So more to say, just congratulate Jordi and Óscar who have helped us to have a better stay in that wonderful land as Cantabria is.

It is the perfect place to discover everything the area has to offer. The people who wear it are charming and take care of all the details to make the stay really pleasant. I will repeat without hesitation!
