I approached to cash an endorsed nominative check, filled in with the holder's signature and its corresponding text. After attending the office located in Parla Este (Address: Calle de la Estrella Antares, 7, 28983 Parla, Madrid) which according to Google was open and finding it nevertheless closed for the whole month of August - chances of life - I had to run to this other office, since according to its website if you are not a customer you can only cash a check from 9:00 to 10:30. There I presented myself and the queue of people was immense, I had to wait 2 endless hours, between shouts of the elderly ladies, the constant coming and going of the bank employees, a terrible heat and the mask up to the eyebrows because nobody respected the integrity of the rest. At 11:14 a.m. a woman came out with a piece of paper for the last person in line and warned that no one else would be served behind her. My turn comes and to my surprise there are 5 people in the office, two of them at the cashier because the cashier did not seem very familiar with the usual procedures of a bank. There was only one table occupied and it was that of the supposed deputy director of this branch. When presenting the endorsed and duly filled out check -as it is stated on the Banco Santander website- the lady at the cash register seemed to see a dead person, because although she seemed to have lived through the check period in her early youth, I had the feeling of that this was the first in his life. He told me "I don't know if you can collect this, eh ... wait" and disappeared to the principal's table -which did not attend to her- and then to the assistant principal's. In the meantime I insisted that I follow the instructions on the page to fill out the check properly and not to have any problems. But very arrogantly, this person with a haughty and arrogant attitude told me that they were not going to pay my check because I had to "pay the stamps." I am a young person, I insisted that it was that of the bells and between babbling and dodging, he could not tell me what they were. Since neither the teller nor the assistant bank manager had any idea how to pay a check, they attended the manager's table. Speaking to themselves, they took out an internal document which she half read to me and without doubting me, she dispatched me, feeling very sorry for the two hours I had waited in line ... I made a note of this, since the Parla Este office was closed and I imagined that for vacation. This offended them a lot because they were the "office girls" of Parla Este ... so I imagine that the total number of people per office is two and a half, counting on the ineptitude of either the cashier or the clerk. vice principal, they only apply to half a human brain. I left there, without cashing my check, with an angry nose and 2 hours of my life wasted, between the constant and banal octogenarian conversations, various shouting and the subject of yore: coronavirus. Finally, I cashed the check through a La Caixa ATM in 5 minutes, because we thought it was not possible. Conclusion: we will let the binary machines help us in these tasks and that humans continue heating chairs with high salaries and their corresponding vacations so as not to endure such scoundrels and similar lines in the middle of a pandemic.

A shame. The attention is horrible, although I and another client were there, I waited almost half an hour and there was no sign that I was treated. I used to work a man who was very kind and professional and always offers to help clients with patience, but lately I don't see him. The bank needs to improve its services.
