What a shame! They act exactly as public institutions act in ECUADOR, that is, they have a disastrous, infamous, useless customer service. They cut off the conversation when they feel like it, cranky and on top of that they don't listen. How can you serve your customers if you don't even know what they have to tell you? In case you don't know, the consulate is a legal-political institution whose function is to serve the general public, without discrimination, on issues outside the country they represent. If I want to get in a bad mood I prefer to see the structural corruption in Ecuador and the mismanagement of financial resources.

They could not be more incompetent .. They are so badly educated that they speak badly to people .. You call to make an appointment to renew a passport and the first thing they tell you, wait a moment and they have you hung up without speaking while you finish doing what you have Know what they will do because they work for sure not. They should have people who really serve. Not a bunch of good-for-nothing. That they are incapable of solving problems .. On top of that they talk to you and yell .. Someone should manage this and pay more attention to people who complain about something. And the man who gets the passport could be nicer. And if you don't feel like working, let someone else do it. And if I have to send my complaint 1000 times wherever I will. Because I am not going to let them continue to treat people like that.

For me it seems there are 2 kind people: Mr. who does the processing of the cédulas and Mrs. who does the powers. Mr. From the passports and the Mr. who is at the largest counter, the treatment of people is terrible. I don't know if they have an air of superiority or inferiority, it is like they respond by defending themselves from an attack. And one day when I was the man at the largest counter, he answered me in a more disrespectful way, I asked him and he answered, I looked on the internet, there it is like my question was a crime to say that there were people waiting there was nobody, the fact is that each one gives what is inside. I hope one day to see staff willing to treat you with kindness. I take nothing personal but observed and I see that the treatment is not correct.

After requesting an appointment while waiting for the day that suits them best, today I approach the consulate requesting a work permit to attend a criminal record process, they give me a paper to pick it up and the official tells me that in three working days , at 3 hours he calls me on the phone and tells me that I have not paid, and the truth is that he has not charged me, I ask him if there is any way to make a transfer and I explain that to go back I have to go back a asks for permission and does not care, he hangs up the phone and I call again insistently and he does not answer me A shame. Where can you make a formal complaint?
