Located at the foot of the Sierra de Penáguila, in the Valencian pre-Hispanic domain, it extends from the Ull del Morro, to the west, to the Alto de la Creueta, to the east, forming part of the northern slopes of the Sierra de Aitana and open towards the Alcoy pit. The term crosses the river of Frainos or of Penáguila, to the east of the town, that ends at the Serpis or Alcoy river when it arrives at Cocentaina.
