It was off season when I went so I didn't see it at it's best. The room I had was fine with en-suite. Large restaurant. Nice grounds to walk around and beautifl view of the mountains and forests. Just a couple of miles walk is a spectacular waterfall. There was a waitress called Ellie who was particularly attentive and deserves a special mention.

The dogs are adorable and so is the owner. He has taken care of us as if we were family (he gave us an antihistamine and ointment because we were attacked by earth wasps in the forest), at night he lit the fireplace for us and prepared us some herbal teas. The place is idyllic and we were able to take our dogs who enjoyed the surroundings. I do not recommend going if you have the expectation of luxury, but if you go with the intention of disconnecting in a hotel in the middle of nature, simplicity, relax and obtain mental clarity ... this is the perfect place. We will be back as soon as they reopen !!!
