Rasines is the best of Cantabria, highly recommended

I tell you our not very good experience at Finca la Balsa (Rasines). We rented the whole house, we were 5 couples between 30-40 years old with a baby and a girl.nWe meet Javier in Rasines, we assume he was the owner and we went to the house. The stipulated price was € 400, 100 of which we had already paid by advance transfer and the remaining € 300 in cash on the day of arrival; but in addition and without prior notice he gave us another € 100 deposit that in case there were no damages we would return on Sunday the day of departure the lady who was going to clean. I asked him again to confirm that they would return it to us, but it did not inspire much confidence ...nIt also made it very clear that the sixth room above could not be used because otherwise we would have to charge more money, we had rented the whole house, but we said OK because we were only going to use 5 rooms.nThe house itself is not bad although it is quite neglected, especially the exteriors. The garden / barbecue area is wide, but the furniture had cobwebs, we think it costs nothing to clean it a little better. The interior OK, with a large room upstairs.nOn Saturday Begoña called me to meet us, the lady who came to clean on Sunday. On the phone she seemed nice, although in person everything resembling reality was pure fiction ...nShe told me that it would come around 17-17.30 but there was no problem that while she was in the house, we would pick up and pack. He also asked me to leave the sheets on and the barbecue / kitchen area clean. I told him no problem.nOn Sunday he appeared at 5pm so we went to the rooms to take the bags but she was in the rooms to clean them up as if putting pressure on me, when she had told me on the phone that we should be quiet without haste.nWe had left the house collected and the kitchen even cleaner than it was the day we arrived. He began to check all the rooms and tells us that a sheet is missing from the room above and that where he was, all this in a rather edge and distrustful tone. We had not used the room above, we had only lowered one of the mattresses that were there to make the girl better. We explain it to him and he has nothing better than to say in a very unfriendly way that there were many children (by the way only a baby and a girl who had already warned them, I do not know what will happen when there are 3 or more ...) and that he had to appear the sheet because we could not return the deposit until it appeared. In the end the happy sheet appeared in the pile where she had left the rest of the sheets used, and did not apologize.nWe tell him that we have to leave and that he returns us € 100, to which he replies that he has to continue checking the house to see that everything is OK. We continue waiting for her down for a while while she reviews everything in detail as if looking for an excuse like the one on the sheet so as not to return the deposit. He goes back down and we tell him that we are leaving and that the bail is returned, he returns it to us without apologizing or anything and we leave with a very bad taste.nSummarizing the facilities OK but quite neglected and the worst of all the treatment received, in all the rural houses we had been always treated us great, this is the worst by far. If you do not want to be found the slightest paste to not return the deposit, DO NOT GO.
