Mallorca Rent Villas

We booked a villa on HomeAway with this local agency as property manager. I must warn you about this local agency in Pollensa called Mallorca Rent Villas with a manager called Josefa. It is a total dishonest company.nnSee our description we have made on HomeAway below.nnVilla with terrible construction noise and lack of basic functionalitynIt is basically an ok villa however at this price level you expect all the basics to be ok which is not the case. There is no parasol at the pool area, the loungers are static ones that can’t prop up making it very uncomfortable to both relax and read and the mattresses upstairs are so hard you can’t sleep on them. The internet connection is very unstable, sometimes it’s there and sometimes it’s not working.nWe had rented the villa for two weeks in July and arrived Saturday where the area was quite and nice but Monday morning hell broke loose with heavy construction noise from the neighbor house. The noise started every day incl. Saturday at 7 AM and went on the whole day until 6 PM. The local agency called ‘ Mallorca Rent Villas’ managed by a person called Josefa (who is property manager of this villa) knew that construction work was going on in the neighbor house but had not informed us prior to our arrival.nWe had a lot of communication with the local agency run by Josefa and it was only after insistent push from our side that they ended up offering us alternatives to the villa we had rented. The first one was a low quality villa with a terrible smell inside the house and a minuscule pool; the other villa was right out to the main road with heavy traffic noise - we of course rejected both villas.nHowever, the noise just went on and on and after 9 days we simply had to leave the villa and rent something else to at least get some calm days Monday-Saturday in our second week.nTo make a long story short. We paid 5600 euro (+ HomeAway service fee) plus new rental fee for the second week and “Mallorca Rent Villas” offered us a compensation for 600 euro to cover a totally destroyed vacation. Needless to say we found the offer a complete joke.nThe property manager will most likely reply to this description and I will have no opportunity to answer back.nBUT - judge yourself whether you want to rent a villa which is managed by this local agency on Mallorca.
