Lalibela tour guide

Sol was our excellent guide during our short stay in Lalibela (24 hours). He met us at the airport with his driver and show us first the weekly market (on Saturday), which was very nice and interesting. Then we visited the first group of these fantastic churches carved in the rock and on the following morning the second after attending an impressive mass service. Sol was very helpful and gave us very interesting informations about what we visited. I recommend him warmly.

I had a wonderful time in Lalibela. Get was informative, very happy and friendly. He took me everywhere I wanted to go to include the market and a coffee ceremony. He arranged a Tuk Tuk that would safely take me to the restaurant for dinner and to be collected again which was reassuring since I was travelling alone. Tour guide in lalibela best one We hired endy for a full-day tour of the Lalibela churches based on his reviews on Tripadvisor best guide in lalibela he has earned all of his great reviews! Communication with endy was prompt and clear. endy has experience as a guide throughout Ethiopia but Lalibela is his hometown. He speaks perfect English and it's not heavily accented. His knowledge of the churches is very thorough and I don't think there was one question that he was unable to answer. I can't imagine touring the churches on our own. His commentary added so much to the experience! At midday, endy escorted us to a restaurant for lunch and then met us afterwards for the second half of the church tour. I can't recommend endy enough.
