Washington Hotel ዋሽንግተን ሆቴል

It is good hotel and love the staff they are very nice with guests. I would recommend for those who plan to travel to Addis to stay in this hotel. It is right in the heart of the town and able to walk to very much to lots of night and day life of the city.

Washington Hotel is exquisite. It has very beautiful interior and very polite staff too. There is a mini mart inside the hotel where you can get some coffee beans and a few Ethiopian art works, jewelry and others. They have a very huge restaurant and their bedrooms are very big and beautiful. The good was okay. But the bathroom wasn't neat and the drainage was terrible as well. PS: The hotel has no heater or air conditioning in their rooms , reception or the restaurant.

Washington hotel Ethiopia, is a nice place to stay and sleep over, it is well equipped with modern facilities and humbled staffs. They show warmth welcome to all clients irrespective of gender, religion or race, let me not exaggerate but washington hotel can provide you with anything you want ( including ladies, laundry, ironing of clothes, sewing machine, multinational food, gym, sauna etc like anything you need for human satisfaction you will get it there), is you to choose what you want and leave what you don't want. 100% recommendation, when visiting Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Airlines had put me up in a few hotels in Addis recently. The Washington has 4 stars, with staff that is not as friendly as some of the hotels with less stars, the food is not as good the rooms are old but clean BUT I had no hot water in my shower. The answer from staff is "I turned the tap in the wrong direction " As a very seasoned Africa traveler I feel Ethiopian Airlines can do much better.

Hotel room was nice...bath room wasn't as the taps were faulty and just left it place to make you feel like you damaged it.
