Valley of the Kings

This is a surprisingly good small play park and soft-play for kids of about 3-8, with a low profile. If it's even signposted from the D7 then I've missed it. It's run by very friendly staff and works very well. As at August 2015, it's €12 per child per day or €3.50 just for the outside stuff. Outside you have five big inflatables (variants on bouncy castles), pedal carts large and small, real pony rides, mechanical pony rides, little paddle boats, a zip line and a climbing thing. Inside you have several climbing areas and large inflatables, plus toys for smaller kids, large wooden table games, a cafe and lots of seating. It is so low-key and unassuming that you expect it to be not very good, but actually it's great. It turns out that most of the climbing areas and inflatables are really well designed and my girls (6 and 4) could probably play here all day. As a parent you can find a table in the middle by the cafe, or out of the way upstairs, and have good visibility of the whole thing but read or chat in relative peace. The kids will keep coming back for rest, water or ice creams, or to move between areas. The toilets are clean. Outside, you can sit under the trees, but you will need to supervise for pony rides or boats.

Very friendly welcome. Very clean place, well appointed and spacious. Very good snacks with a children's menu at 5 euros. Structures for all ages and secure. Our little girl is having fun.
