Restaurant La Grappe de Raisin

We might have eaten there on a bad day, but the food was pricey and below average, and the service was agonisingly slow.

Nice food and great service although the restaurant is advertised in local leaflets as English-speaking when it is clearly not (at least not with the staff serving at the time). Nevertheless a nice place to eat. Pizza was good!

Lovely terrace on the square but food average at best. If you're going to offer mashed potato, an odd choice in the height of summer, then at least do it well - not watery and lumpy. Service mixed, one staff member smiley and obliging, the other not. And come on, if you can't change the accompaniments to a dish I wonder if it's actually prepared in the kitchen or delivered by a lorry and heated up. With that location it deserves better food and service.

Although my duck was very good, my friend had a pizza with a ketchup-like tomato sauce that was generally very lacking in any other part. Besides, while the place was full to the brim, throughout our sitting only two waitresses were serving the restaurant. They definitely know how to make good food, but I guess they don't think it's worth investing in their experience when they have so many tourists over there.

Ate there with family. Service glacially slow but pleasant. Food nothing special. My burger was excellent, but other choices not so good. kids' pizzas had thin bases and very little filling, My wife's Caesar salad seemed to have a thousand island dressing or similar - certainly not Caesar. Mushroom risotto v. meagre portion and not much mushroom.
